Abstract
Mind-wandering research has shown that learners struggle to pay attention while learning. When mind wandering is seen as a trigger for self-regulation, the question becomes: How do learners adjust their learning after mind wandering? I posit that any ad hoc regulation will be influenced by the goals they set for their learning.
